Aquastar has been a Swiss dive-watch manufacturer since 1962. The brand directed by Frédéric Robert from Geneva filed eleven patents between 1957 and 1977 that became the technical foundation of the modern dive watch, including the no-decompression dive bezel, the dial bathymeter, the dual-gasket waterproof crown, and the yacht-race timer. Production today is in Bienne.
